Yes it can.
Don't just throw your computers and computer equipment into landfill, waste site or the nearest skip! We aim to reuse IT equipment to benefit local charities and local families on low income, reusing approximately 85% of donated equipment we receive.
Members of the public are always welcome to drop off a couple of computer systems at our facility FREE OF CHARGE and you can be assured that all hard disks and personal settings will be securely and thoroughly deleted prior to disposal.
Unfortunately we cannot collect from individual's houses.
All computers donated to us are treated with the same security and undergoes the same level of data deletion we provide to businesses.
Donated computers are never left insecure in a public area unlike at public waste and recycling centres or made available to buyers until after they have been booked in and all data has been thoroughly and securely scrubbed by our specialist software and hardware.
We always welcome the donation of newer computers and IT equipment which we can make available to local charities and local people on low income - please contact us if you have unwanted equipment in a reuseable condition.
Any funds made from resale are used for charitable purposes and is classed as a charitable donation. If you'd like your donation to be considered for Gift Aid, please fill in our form when you drop off your equipment.
Gift Aid increases the value of donations to charities such as ourselves by allowing us to reclaim basic rate tax on your donation.

We can only refurbish and resell computers and computer equipment if they are fully functional, in reasonable condition and fulfils our minimum specifications.
Tip: If you're not sure - this is usually equipment
purchased from 2005 onwards - call us or click on this link to download a PC Hardware Specification Tool
and choose the 'Run' option, saying 'Yes' to any security message that may
appear to help you determine this.
If we cannot REFURBISH your old computer, we will RECYCLE it as Electronic Waste.
We will dismantle and thoroughly recycle the equipment in-house. This ensures your compliance with the WEEE legislation whilst ensuring your equipment is disposed of locally in as an environmentally-friendly way as possible.
For a drop-off, we will accept for free the amount of IT equipment you can carry in your personal car.
Drop-off is easy
You can visit our Centre, Mon - Thurs (9:00AM - 4:00PM) except holidays
to drop-off equipment, however larger (or chargeable) donations of
equipment need to be booked in – we cannot accept vanloads of
equipment arriving without prior agreement.
