XP WIN NT 2000 Password Remover - Review

The win95-XP SP1 password bypasser is a Linux based, free-ware product designed to circumvent windows passwords, forgotten or lost by clients. The process to install and use the program is relatively simple, due to accurate and helpful instructions provided on screen. And because the program itself can be burned to a compact disk, plus being released as free-ware, allows multiple copies to be made. Some of you reading this may think, "but wait" i hear you say, "how can I boot up the disk, without first being able to log in to windows with a password i cant remember?" The answer? very simple, the disk boots up before windows!

The basic premise of the program is to

1. Change the password if necessary or

2. Blank the password entirely if you are not too confident in your memory that particular day.

It changes/blanks the password by accessing the all important windows files that control user accounts and such, and by following the simple instructions, you too can open up windows and allows for fast access to your machine.

But wait! Unfortunately, Its not all good news. Even though the menu is largely helpful, it still requires some technical know-how and needs some delving inside files relevant to windows security. And you are also unable to take screenshots to review the data at a later date.

To summarize...

The Good...

•  Good for the forgetful among us

•  Does not install on your computer

•  No nasty surprises i.e.: viruses

The Bad...

•  Need to have some technical know-how

•  Only Works to XP service pack one

•  Can't take screenshots to review data at a later date
