A content management system (CMS) is a computer program used to create and maintain fully functional websites, manage work flow needed to collaboratively create, edit, review, index, search, publish and archive various kinds of digital media and electronic text using an online database.
These are the PHP-based programs we would personally recommend as best suited for community or not-for-profit websites. Calderdale-based third sector organisations can contact us to request a login username and password in order to test them out.
