Computer Donations to Good Causes

We regularly donate refurbished computers FREE OF CHARGE
to LOCAL charities and other good causes.

Donated Computer at Overgate Hospice

Picture of Laura Ramsden, Appeals Manager at Overgate Hospice
who as you can see is very happy she now has computers for her volunteers.

If you are a registered charity, based or working within Calderdale, we may be able to assist with the donation of a fully-installed, refurbished computer system.

Alternatively, if you are a smaller, local not-for-profit organisation with a constitution that ensures no committee member or director benefits directly from the organisation or receives any form of payment for services, then again we may be able to assist.

To apply for a donation, please email us with some details about your group and what you need.

Include a copy of your governing document if possible, as this would be helpful in assisting our trustees in making a decision.

If you are requesting additional computers for use by your clients – please confirm who your beneficiaries are and how you subsidise any services you provide to them.

if your organisation fulfills our donation criteria, we will contact you to confirm that we would be willing to consider a donation to you. As a general rule we usually donate one or two fully installed computer systems (not laptops) on each occasion.

Please Note: we do not donate or sell computer equipment outside of the UK and we will not provide donations by mail. All donations must be collected by an authorised representative of the organisation from our Centre. Sorry, but we do not supply computer equipment to organisations, schools or charities located abroad.

Eckersley Heroes - Donation

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you from all of us at Eckersley Heroes for the kind donations of computers for our new office.

The donation will enable Eckersley Heroes to work effectively in promoting new events to raise funds fo Eckersley House, the essential service that provides accommodation to families with sick and disabled children.

Simon Widdop, Manager, Eckersley Heroes

All of us at Phoenix Heights would like to say how grateful we are at the donation of a re-conditioned computer with all the accessories and all the software that a small organisation like ours needs to get going.  This is a real and tangible, very valued asset that at this stage of our development we could not have paid for.

You have thoughtfully arranged all the licensing for all the packages that we shall need for correspondence, managing our membership and client group, recording our accounts and planning our Art and Craft programmes.

It is really important to have a piece of equipment like this available to any organisation, but especially in the early days of growth.  It means that we can quickly and efficiently handle our tasks and leave more time for the activities that we are passionate about.

You have provided us with all the technology we need at this time to start our own website, organise our picture and photos,  keep in contact with members, create our own marketing and branding as well as the ability to make a good impression when we are applying for funds or encouraging people to our sessions and workshops.

Thank you for being there Dot-Communications!
