Calderdale D.A.R.T. (Disabled Advice Resource Team) was established in 1984 and continues to offer an extensive range of advice/information services for people with disabilities.

Their new website is an example of our basic database-driven package created in Drupal, fully accessible, easy to update and designed to be easily expanded as required.

Additional design work includes adding a location map, newsletter blog, contact and referral forms and a logo redesign.

Calderdale Shopmobility is a member of National Federation of Shopmobility UK and provides a choice of  mobility vehicles for hire as required. They aim is to provide freedom, independence and encourage social inclusion for anyone with poor mobility whether a resident of Calderdale or a visitor to the area.

Their new database-driven website was designed by our Chief Web Designer Paul Barthram and has been created in Drupal. The site has been designed to be fully accessible, easy for the staff to update and maintain and incorporates an online booking system.

Hour Car is a not-for-profit community Car Share scheme. The vehicles belong to its members and can be hired as required.

The Hour Car website was primarily designed in fully accessible HTML and CSS but featuring a customised Booking Management System designed in .asp by our staff. This program allows their clients to easily add, edit or remove their vehicle booking sessions online with changes automatically showing in the calendar.

Launched in 2003, Calderdale-Online was created to provide an independent, one-stop shop for information and community services within Calderdale; by striving to provide global resources with a local focus.

Calderdale-Online was created in HTML using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The site incorporated a number of php-based programs including a guestbook, bulletin board forums (using phpBBs) and link engine.

It has attracted over 12 million hits so far.

DOT-COMmunication's newest in-house website is the ClientZone.

The website design is an example of a friendly and extremely flexible content management system called Modx which is suitable for sites that need to update easily to keep their users up-to-date with all the latest news and information.

Note the script used to change the testimonials shown at the bottom of each page.

Staffordshire Community Foundation (SCF) is a charity dedicated to strengthening local communities, creating opportunities and tackling issues of disadvantage and exclusion through the allocation of grants.

The Staffordshire Foundation website was built in HTML using a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) and features a wide range of grant opportunities that their clients can apply for, with new ones appearing all the time.

The localcurrency.org.uk website was originally set up to introduce Calderdale's alternative local currency. It was subsequently altered to explain the background behind the scheme, and why it ultimately failed.

This site is another example of a static or historic site designed in HTML with some PHP options added. The site was created to document the achievements of the Calderdale Green Currency Group and as such the information does not alter very often.

The site has a number of special features added including a map page, rollover navigation and image enlargement.
