An exclusive Local Authority or Trust contract with DOT-COMmunications means, provided all your computer equipment can be either delivered directly to our facility or collected from ONE central source within that Borough and the majority of the donated equipment meets our minimum specification, we will process it FREE OF CHARGE.
Local Authorities or Trusts will benefit from having a local charitable community enterprise take responsibility for the legal and ethical disposal of their computer equipment and from the immense and incalculable Social Value this brings to them.
A partnership with us ensures all their redundant computer equipment will be kept out of landfill and will help reduce their possible carbon footprint. They will also have the reassurance of knowing that the majority of their donated equipment will be reused to benefit local community organisations and local people on low income and will provide training opportunities for disadvantaged local people.
All equipment is booked in and they can request an audit trail (if required) listing their equipment complete with serial and asset numbers for audit purposes. They will also receive consignment notes for each collection we take, which will include numbers collected, average weights and European Waste Codes for all the equipment we collect from them.
The donor can also request annual statistics regarding end disposal of their donated equipment.
