
We do not charge for recycling any fully functional I.T. equipment that meets our minimum specifications and may even be classed as a charitable donation in kind and be tax deductable.
Our minimum specification for FREE collection currently consists of:
Laptops - Pentium III & later (including AMD-equivalent) processors, at least 256mb of memory and a minimum 10 Gb harddisk;
Desktops - Pentium 4 & later (including AMD-equivalent) minimum 2.4ghz processors, at least 256mb of memory and a minimum 20 Gb harddisk;
Monitors - 17" or larger CRTs (Cathode Ray Tube) and all functional LCD/TFTs (Liquid Crystal Display/Thin Film Transistor).
We will also accept all Functional I.T. equipment and all computer peripherals -
including all computer cables (power, network, USB etc.), laptop power supplies, keyboards, mice, speakers, printers, VOIP telephony equipment, routers, hubs, switches, network cards (ethernet and wireless), UPS, powerstrips, hard drives (SATA, IDE, USB, 8gb or larger), mobile phones, flash drives (also known as USB memory-sticks), sticks of memory (128mb or larger, SDRAM, DDR etc.), CD-ROM and DVD Drives (x16 or higher) including CD-RW and DVD-RW drives (x4 or higher), graphics and sound cards, network Access Points (wired and wireless), OEM media (the original CDs that shipped with the computer) for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office or Word, recovery/restore disks and used, unwanted laser toner and inkjet cartridges, etc.
Please note: we will charge for disposing of all network servers, large office printers, UPS Batteries etc. See our pricelist.
