Who or What is DOT-COMmunICaTions?

The DOT-COMmunications team are experienced computer technicians, database engineers, web designers and graphic artists dedicated to assisting local charities, community, voluntary and faith sector organisations (including local churches, mosques and temples) and Not-for-Profit Social enterprises.

In fact we can ONLY provide technical support to organisations in Calderdale, though we can sell refurbished IT equipment to individuals etc.

If you are not sure whether you or your organisation qualifies for our services, why not give us a no obligation call? Even if you do not qualify for our assistance, we may be able to recommend someone who can help.

We solve your IT-related Problems

How we can help?

Our goal is to provide all of Calderdale's not-for-profit organisations with a wide range of reliable and cost-effective computer services and solutions at affordable prices, backed by our first-class customer support. In addition, your

organisation may find it needs further equipment to support a growing network, or simply to provide a volunteer with out of hours access to IT – we can provide computers, software and accessories at substantially reduced costs.

History:

DOT-COMmunICaTions was first formed as a web design service in January 2001 by the Ground Floor Project. Following a successful pilot project under Change-Up in 2005, our IT Support Service was re-launched in April 2008, along with 3R-iT, our computer and IT recycling and refurbishment service.

The technical support aspect of the organisation is financially supported by Calderdale MBC, through their Community Partnerships initiative, which allows us to provide a variety of support services at a subsidised price to these organisations and their volunteers and home workers, provided they live within Calderdale.

However, we are currently unable to provide assistance to commercial businesses or private individuals or technical support beyond Calderdale.
