Julian Hadlow

Julian Hadlow

Julian is the new Manager of DOT-COMm. He is a qualified IT Technician in his own right, achieved a B.A. Honours in Communications and his PGCE (FE) in Information and Communications Technology and recently completed a Linux Administration Course.

David Rhodes

David Rhodes

Dave is our senior IT Technician. Amongst his many other qualifications, David achieved distinction in his Level III Advanced Diploma for IT Practitioners and was recently awarded his PAT Testing Certification and is now studying PHP. Dave is one of those rare people who has a real talent (and passion) for IT and has a wide range of IT skills coupled with a very down-to-earth personality.

Dave counts his greatest achievements (so far) as his kids.

Kev' is Supervisor of our 3R-iT Project, having previously worked at Extended Life Computers. Kev' also has his Level III Advanced Diploma for IT Practitioners and his PAT Testing Certification. Its Kev's role to oversee all aspects of our recycling and refurbishment project from logging in donated computers and IT equipment, to carrying out secure data deletions on hard disks and hardware assessment and testing. If that wasn't enough Kev' also supervises the trainees, oversees the rebuilds and MAR operating system installations.

Kev' is a fanatical Manchester United Supporter, but then no-one's perfect, not even Kev'.

Jae Campbell

Jae Campbell

Jae is the Community Resource Manager of the Ground Floor Project and their primary liaison with DOT-COMmunications, specifically to oversee the setting up of the various community support programmes.

Jae has worked with computers for over 25 years, starting out on punch cards and mainframes. He was Ground Floor's primary computer tutor for a number of years, specialising in jargon-free courses for technophobes.

Paul Gershom

Paul Gershom

Paul spent 15 years as a professional graphics designer originally in Lewisham, South London prior to moving to Calderdale in 2000.

A single father, Paul currently works as a free-lance web designer and information architect designing website navigation, sorting out Internet accessibility problems and designing graphics for websites.

In his better moments, Paul will admit to being an avid Sci Fi reader, modeller and Madonna fan... Ouch!!!

Aparna Maiti

Aparna has done her post graduate in Computer Science and Technology, M.Tech (Masters in Technology) from the University of Calcutta, India.

She has passed her bachelors in computer science (B. Sc) and Masters in Computer Science(M. Sc) prior to getting her M.Tech. She has almost two years University teaching experience in "Vidyasagar University" West Bengal , India.

She has experience with many programming languages such as C, C++, Cobol, PHP, Java, VB, and Javascript as well as programming MySQL, Oracle and MS-Access databases. She also knows several packages such as Office 2000 and scripting languages like and PHP.

Zafar Faqir

Zafir Faqir

Zafar is currently working as a volunteer technician with DOT-COMm. Zafar has recently passed his Cisco II Essential Level 1 and CompTIA A+ 220-602 IT Technician qualifications and is involved in building, installing and upgrading PC's, HTPC, and data recovery.

Zafar is currently looking for full-time employment as a technician and recently had his first technical article (on remote support) accepted for publication by the ICT Hub.
